Description

This workshop will bring together researchers working primarily on analytical aspects of mathematical physics. Our goal is to highlight recent progress, and to foster interaction between specialists in different areas. The material presented at the workshop will cover field theory and statistical physics and address related physical questions concerning renormalization, random matrix theory and uses of SUSY, as well as illustrate mathematical progress in non-linear differential equations, functional analysis, functional integration, and probability theory.

There will be several survey talks as well as detailed research talks. We hope that researchers and students from other institutions, besides ETH and UZH, will be able to profit from this workshop as an educational experience.
