Introduction
Sherpa is a widely used Monte Carlo tool for precision simulations of particle collisions at CERN's LHC and other high energy colliders. In this field, the Sherpa collaboration plays a leading role in the development and implementation of state-of-the art theoretical techniques and their application to the analysis of LHC data.
